Director's message

From its humble beginning started by a group of parents in 1953 to the present groups of schools, Lodge had always strived to provide the best education for children.

With dedicated staff and caring Board of Management, we would like to realise our vision of a school of choice, capable of moulding physically fit, emotionally stable, creative thinkers and problem solvers who have the skills to function effectively in our society and work place.

The Malaysian Education Blueprint 2013-2025 outlined six attributes needed by every student to be globally competitive. Every student must have knowledge, thinking skills, leadership skills, bilingual proficiency, ethics and spirituality and national identity.

Lodge Schools not only need to realise these attributes, but to produce students with 21st century skills. We have to use whatever resources available to us to produce student who are creative, innovative, possess critical thinking and problem solving skills. They are also able to communicate effectively and collaborate respectfully and effectively with others. Our students should also possess information management skills and make effective use of technology, developing career and life skills who are self-directed, independent life-long learner and worker. They must also develop cultural and emotional intelligence capable of working with others from a wide range of cultural and social backgrounds.

The success of our students depends very much on the learning strategies and the moral intelligence they possess. With parental support and efficient delivery pathways used by all staff, we are confident that we can always work to improve and realise the vision of the school.
