FIVE STARS RATING FOR ALL SCHOOLS

Lodge Group of Schools is honoured to announce that Lodge Primary School, Lodge Secondary
School and Lodge International School has received the prestigious 5-star recognition by
the Ministry of Education for ‘Pemeriksaan Standard Kualiti Institusi Pendidikan
Swasta (SKIPS) Sekolah Tahun 2015”.
The school leaders attended a special ceremony last Friday where they received the certificates
This recognition is met with collective joy from the school management, staff and students, as
this shows that the government has recognized the schools’ performance and contribution to
the state and nation’s education landscape.
Lodge Group of Schools has come a long way since its humble beginnings in 1953. Today, 240
staff across 4 entities work hard together to provide a premium learning environment for more
than 2000 students from Kuching and beyond.
The Classes of 2015 in these various entities have performed exceedingly well in the various
public and international examinations. Approximately 30% of the respective candidature have
scored straight A’s at the 2015 UPSR examinations, straight 10 distinctions at the 2015 SPM
examinations, and straight distinctions at the November 2015 IGCSE.
On top of that, Lodgians have shone at the co-curricular front. Our students have represented
Sarawak at various sporting events, received awards and recognition for their leadership
ability, and just in November 2015, represented Malaysia at the World Scholar’s Cup at Yale.
Chairman, Lodge School Association, Mr George Lo, says, “The Lodge School

Schools for this outstanding recognition of quality and commitment to education. This would
not have been possible without the close relationship between students, teachers, and the
parents, which is the hallmark of Lodge School’s success.”
